(See breakdown on what each student receives with your sponsorship below)

2) Invest in CVI's MicroFinance Fund I                          $400/Loan

CVI seeks to raise an initial economic fund of $40,000 by December 31, 2009 for the Carmen Bajo Community.  To date, $11,000 has been raised.  CVI's partner in Ecuador, A&E, is currently developing appropriate business concepts with the goal to launch them beginning January 1, 2009.

If you would like to invest in CVI’s projects in Latin America (currently only in Ecuador), please fill out the required information in our online processing form.  CVI will invest all monies according to our annual strategic plan approved by our board of directors.  If you have not received a presentation of our strategic plan, then please email info@communityintl.com and we will be glad to send you a copy.

3) Invest in the Carmen Bajo Bakery                            $20,000

CVI has identified a great investment opportunity to start and operate a commercial bakery in the Carmen Bajo community, across from the A&E School/Community Center.  The required investment is $20,000 and the projections show that the business is operationally sustainable in month 2 and the pay back period is 8 mths.  All profits will be used to cover costs at the A&E School which can not be covered by the current tuition.  CVI believes that this is great investment and is imperative for its partner, FAE to recognize long term financial sustainability allowing it to grow into other communities.
